Residential Heating Replacement
Residential Heating System Replacement
Even here in Sarasota, we have our cold days and as people who aren’t used to the cold, the last thing we want is to get stuck with a broken heater on one of the coldest days of winter, and unfortunately sometimes the only option is to completely replace the system. We want to make it clear that you are not alone for one second of this process. We will be there every step of the way to inform, educate, help with decision making, and install the unit itself.
The Initial Phone Call
Our top-notch service at 7th Generation Air Conditioning and Heating begins with the first phone call. We do not deal in huge fancy call centers where you wait on hold listening to elevator music for an hour. We are your neighbors in Southwest Florida, and we pick up the phone, listen to your issue, and most importantly, we care.
We understand that losing heat in the middle of winter is uncomfortable at best, and dangerous for our elderly loved ones at worst. That is why we treat you like part of our family and send a professional HVAC technician to you as soon as possible.
Inspecting Your Home
We take a good look around your home and the unit being replaced to help you make a determination about choosing a new unit. We want you to have the most trustworthy and efficient unit based on the size of your home and your budget.

You Make the Choice
We give you all the facts. We understand not everyone is an HVAC expert. That is why we have jobs. We give you all of the facts as far as what you will be spending, why a certain unit is the best, and how an efficient unit can save you money in the long run. Heaters and air conditioners are some of the most expensive appliances to buy. It is not a decision to be taken lightly and we pride ourselves on being there to advise you every step of the way. We will give you every possible scenario that will work for your home and we will give you our own recommendation of what would be best for your budget and comfort in the long run.
Florida law dictates that air conditioning and heating units be installed by certified HVAC technicians. Some people do get away with having a handyman friend install a system for them but here are the problems. If your unit were to have a serious issue and in a rare instance catch on fire, investigators are going to want to see where a certified HVAC professional signed off on the installation. Also if you are sold a defective heater and it breaks down in two weeks, the fact that a certified technician did not install it immediately voids your warranty. So even if it was the manufacturers fault you will now have to buy a second system. Might as well do it right the first time.
Follow-up and Maintenance
We make it a point to check in with you and see if your new heater as treated you well since we left. As we do with anyone, we will highly recommend a yearly maintenance contract. Warranties on new systems require a certain amount of maintenance to keep the warranty in tact. You can try to remember to call us out for necessary maintenance which costs more on a call by call basis or you can sign up for a yearly maintenance contract. They are very affordable and they allow us to catch problems before you have a breakdown. They keep your heater clean and in good working condition and they are a lot less costly then repairs. Would we make more money by letting your heater break down and not offering maintenance plans? Of course. Would you trust someone who would do that or bring them you future business? Of course not. We want to be your one-stop shop for heating and air conditioning needs for life and we accomplish that by treating you how we want to be treated.
